Colorman Ireland was founded in 1959 as Irish Silkscreen, a small silk screen printing company with just three employees, and quickly evolved into one of Ireland’s leading commercial printers. Over the decades, Colorman expanded its facilities, invested in advanced lithographic and digital printing technologies, secured major multinational contracts across Europe and beyond, and achieved key ISO certifications for quality and information security. 

Remaining Irish-owned after a management buyout in 2000, Colorman diversified into pharmaceutical and medical device packaging, introduced secure print services, and continued modernising its operations. Acquired by Woodberry Packaging in 2021, the company maintains a strong investment programme, most recently installing state-of-the-art Heidelberg and Bobst machinery to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and quality assurance for its global customer base.

From our state-of-the-art facilities in Dublin, we provide fully integrated, end-to-end printing, carton manufacturing and packaging solutions for some of the world’s most recognised brands. We support a diverse range of sectors including pharmaceutical, medical device manufacturing, IT, FMCG, retail, finance, and government.

Quality Certifications Overview

Colorman first obtained the ISO 9000 certification in 1991 through the elimination of waste and the documentation of all processes. There have been many upgrades to the original certification and in 2004 Colorman (Ireland) Limited was officially registered to the new ISO standard: ISO 9001:2000. In 2025, Colorman was awarded the ISO 12647-2:2013 standard in Print Colour Management,
